Position Overview
This is a key role in the Network Engineering and delivery team, responsible for managing the end to end delivery of a range of projects including complex systems integrations across telecoms networks and IT systems in multiple geographical locations and technical environments. This will require working with both internal and external teams to understand business strategy, business requirements and the delivery of solutions according to business priorities and to time, cost and quality.
This role is based in São Paulo, Brazil. The successfully hired candidate will receive onboarding and training in Lisbon, gaining valuable skills while experiencing one of Europe’s most dynamic and renowned cities.

Key Responsibilities
- Work with project teams (including vendors) and programme managers to define & agree scope and deliver the design, build and transformation of aggressive parallel deliveries across telecoms networks and IT systems, covering all features of the project both business and technology related
- Be business’ representative and act on their authority and behalf to ensure delivery of appropriate business outcomes
- Work across the business to ensure the right level of engagement from project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment across all teams driving towards continuous integration rather than delivering individual work streams in parallel.
- Manage regular and consistent project planning sessions, meetings, and retrospectives, ensuring adherence to existing Project management processes and controls
- Pro-actively manage risks, issues corrections and escalations to ensure delivery remains on track to time, cost and quality
- Ensure that all project dependencies are identified, communicated and proactively managed
- Manage project expenditure and value, ensuring focus on business benefit realisation
Requirements
Must Have
- Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in project management role experience, covering the end-to-end project life cycle, ideally with a Telecoms, IT service or consulting company
- A background in mobile telecoms or the wider Telco industry sector is essential
- Previous experience in large telecom projects in Mobile Network Operators or Mobile Virtual Network Operators
- A track record in the delivery of Telecom integration projects, with high complexity, with multiple third party suppliers
- Strong vendor and stakeholder relationship skills
- Managing complex resources and multiple teams in a matrix structure
- Management and delivery of concurrent projects that vary in scale and complexity
- Driven, energetic, robust and able to work independently without supervision
- Must be proactive, hands-on and be able to work independently
- Commercially oriented and able to manage relationships at a senior level
- Demonstrable experience in project management methodologies
- English and Portuguese proficiency mandatory, other languages are a plus
- Degree in Telecom Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience

- Previous experience with Telecom regulatory framework including, but not limited to, lawful interception
