1GLOBAL, the first worldwide mobile operator, expanded its global eSIM services by receiving GSMA accreditation in 2019 for its remote SIM provisioning solution in the Netherlands.

Having already successfully launched this solution in the UK in 2018, this additional accreditation in the Netherlands was indicative of the accelerating demand for eSIM technology.

Immediate Connectivity

1GLOBAL's solution enables SIM profiles to be downloaded into eSIM ready smartphones, wearable tech and other IoT devices, allowing devices to work out of the box.

1GLOBAL’s innovative pay-as-you-grow commercial model continues to be an attractive alternative to traditional practices. Operators and device makers pay no upfront cost for SIM profiles and 1GLOBAL will only charge when they’re active and making money, ensuring that any investment in the technology is perfectly aligned to its customers’ cash flows.

GSMA Certified

Following endorsement by the GSMA, the organization setting the global standards for the mobile industry, 1GLOBAL’s eSIM provisioning solution continued to bring a wide range of deployment options and improved service availability to customers.

The announcement came soon after 1GLOBAL’s launch in France, where it became a full MVNO in November 2019, marking its ninth official service country.
