2. Introduction

This Policy intents to illustrates 1GLOBAL commitment to uphold environmental, sustainability and safety measures across the organization, thus establishing the rules and good practices that should be applied and implemented in all 1GLOBAL facilities.

2.1. Document Scope

This policy applies to all 1GLOBAL permanent or temporary employees ﴾e.g. temporary workers, trainees﴿, independently of their function/role and hierarchical position, contractors, and third-party suppliers working with or on behalf of 1GLOBAL, regardless of location or jurisdiction.

2.2. Document Governance

This Policy is owned by the Sustainability Team, who has the responsibility for reviewing and updating it.

Updates to this policy must be approved by a Company Director.

3. 1GLOBAL Commitment

1GLOBAL is aware of its responsibility as company to implement environmental, sustainability and health and safety procedures, and of the positive consequences that may arise in all downstream structure.

To achieve its objectives 1GLOBAL is committed to:

  • Comply with all relevant environmental regulations.

  • Minimizing environmental impact through sustainable practices.

  • Reduce greenhouse gas emissions, energy use and carbon impacts.

  • Guarantee sustainable practices across the organization;

  • Implement and continually improve processes ensuring compliancewith legal, regulatory, and

    other stakeholder requirements.

  • Involve employees at all levels to participate in environmental and sustainability training.

  • Promote economic, environmental and pollution prevention through continual process

    improvements and responsible business practices.

  • Partner with suppliers, customers and stakeholders to publicly share best practices.

4. Environmental and Sustainability Policy

4.1. General

Environment and sustainability are a major company mission for 1GLOBAL because as a business, we aim to make connectivity simple, seamless and sustainable for all. We’re enabling a more sustainable, connected world as well as ensuring that our own practices have a low impact on the environment.

4.2. Goals

1GLOBAL goal is to be carbon neutral in due course and to achieve it we are taking deliberate steps to reduce the environmental impact of our daily operations, recognizing that this is an ongoing journey that will influence all areas of our business and require a gradual shift in mindset.

To accomplish this, we have established actions across the organization that rely on the following:

  • Waste Management - reduce, reuse, and recycle materials wherever possible,

  • Resource Conservation - implement measures to conserve water, energy, and raw

    materials,

  • Climate changes prevention – monitoring and reducing greenhouse gas emissions,

  • Continuous improvement - improve continuously the environmental performance.

4.3. Monitoring and Reporting of results

4.3.1. Monitoring of impacts

1GLOBAL monitors environmental and sustainability risks and opportunities across its operations and infrastructure with a focus on areas most material to our services and technology platform.

This monitoring involves several groups of impacts, such as:

Climate changes impacts:
  1. Energy usage from data centres powering our core systems and hosted services

  2. Energy usage from our offices

  3. Emissions associated with airtime usage

  4. Environmental impact of SIM and eSIM provisioning, including production, logistics, and disposal

    Note: We track Scope 1 and 2 emissions associated with our direct energy consumption (e.g. offices and data centres) and estimate Scope 3 emissions arising from our broader service delivery footprint.

Waste management:

We actively monitor reductions in physical SIM card deployment and estimate the associated Estimation of carbon and plastic waste reduction avoidance (through growing eSIM adoption).

4.3.2. Reporting results

1GLOBAL reports environmental performance in line with global standards and stakeholder expectations. We currently disclose the results through the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and review our reporting approach annually to maintain alignment with best practices.

Our disclosures include emissions data, governance practices, and relevant climate-related risks and are available under request.

5. Reporting and Complaint Mechanism

Employees are encouraged to report any violations of this policy through 1GLOBAL's established grievance procedures. All complaints will be handled confidentially and investigated promptly, with appropriate corrective actions taken if necessary.

6. Compliance and Monitoring

1GLOBAL will regularly review and monitor its practices to ensure compliance with this policy. This includes ensuring that suppliers and third-party partners adhere to these principles in their operations.

8. Review Cycle

This document must be reviewed annually or whenever changes are applied to the current procedure. The review must be recorded in the Change History table.

9. Enforcement

There are no exceptions to the requirements on this document. Any deviation from this must be covered by a risk-based security or compliance endorsed decision leading to a time bound remediation plan with compensating controls and business planning to upgrade the defined assets.

All users within the scope who deliberately violate this, or other Policies are subject to disciplinary / legal action in force.
