The latest development is the expansion of Revolut’s 1GLOBAL-powered telecommunications service, Revolut Mobile, to Germany. Now, millions more Revolut account holders will have the option to purchase domestic mobile plans, including unlimited calls, texts, and roaming, through their Revolut app. This is the latest rollout of Revolut Mobile in the European market and underscores the success of 1GLOBAL-powered white-label eSIM plans. German Revolut customers could previously purchase short-term travel eSIMs through their app – now, they can also use Revolut as their primary mobile provider.

Working with Revolut continues to be one of the most exciting partnerships in our portfolio, supporting their growth of Revolut Mobile across key markets. Mobile connectivity is a true differentiator for digital champions like Revolut. We are proud to power Revolut Mobile with our technology, enabling Revolut to offer mobile services that are faster to activate, simpler to manage and more transparent than traditional offerings.

Revolut Mobile Germany plans: your questions answered

1. What do the plans include?

Like in the UK, Netherlands, and Poland before it, Revolut Mobile plans for Germany are bundled mobile data, calls, and text packages. Each plan includes:

  • Unlimited calls

  • Unlimited SMS

  • 120GB of high-speed data each month

  • Unlimited 2Mbps data usage thereafter

  • 40GB/month of international roaming data throughout Europe

One advantage of an app-based service is that it allows Revolut to continually provide customers with a range of exclusive perks, easily provided and advertised through a single digital platform – ones that go beyond typical mobile plan expectations. Some additional benefits users can expect from the German Revolut Mobile service include:

  • Number portability - Users can keep their current number, receive a new one, or even purchase a custom phone number.

  • All-in-one eSIM: Local plan and international travel benefits on a single eSIM – no SIM swapping required.

  • Messaging Pass: Even outside their regular data allowance, customers will be able to use messaging apps in over 140 countries.

  • Additional numbers: Customers can manage up to three additional numbers on a single plan.

2. How much does the plan cost?

The plans are charged at a flat rate of €14.99 per month, and are cancellable monthly, with no recurring charges or long-term contracts. They can also be purchased wholly or in part with RevPoints, Revolut’s customer loyalty tokens.

3. How do users in Germany purchase a Revolut Mobile plan?

Revolut currently offers its German account holders the option to buy single-use travel eSIM data via its app. As of October 14, 2026, Revolut users in Germany will be able to purchase domestic data plans. The process is the same - users open the app and select Revolut Mobile to book a plan. All aspects of the mobile service can be managed within the app.

From bank to mobile provider

Add-ons like VIP numbers and a free VPN highlight how a digital-only domestic plan can tailor its services to customers and exceed the expectations of a typical mobile package: users enjoy a wider range of services, competitive pricing, transparent billing, and a familiar UI.

The value to Revolut is even further-reaching: launching a mobile service is a key driver of long-term customer relationships and digital engagement. In the UK, Revolut Mobile is included in the highest account tier, Revolut Ultra. Here, mobile plans are deployed as an incentive to explore a wider range of Revolut services. In the highly competitive digital banking space, brands understand the value of customer retention.

Revolut Mobile plans are in some ways the inverse of legacy mobile contracts, where customers can be “locked-in” to long-term contracts. With Revolut Mobile, long-term commitment is a choice by the customer, not a requirement. This choice is driven by a flexible digital service that continually adapts to customer needs, and a high-speed, low-cost mobile network. Customers get carrier-grade mobile performance and coverage, delivered through a commitment-free, transparent and simple user experience.

While venturing into telecommunications may seem like a dramatic pivot for a finance brand, it continues a through line of innovation that’s been central to Revolut’s strategy since its founding. The brand was one of the first digital banks to sell travel eSIMs, and this summer became the first financial institution to provide a full mobile service in the Netherlands. The transition reflects Revolut’s diversified strategy of building a broad portfolio of independent revenue streams, safeguarding against market fluctuations. For Revolut, it’s an important aspect of operational resilience and sustainable growth. For customers and shareholders, it’s an assurance of stability in an emerging sector.

With Revolut Mobile, we're bringing the same disruptive energy to telecoms that we brought to banking. We are combining top-tier connectivity with the best service, price and user experience. We're proving that mobile service can be incredibly straightforward. This is telecoms rebuilt for the way we actually live today.

It’s also an increasingly common move, as non-telco brands utilise eSIM technology and MVNEs like 1GLOBAL to launch their own mobile services.

1GLOBAL Embedded Telco and White-label eSIMs

1GLOBAL is the technological enabler behind many brands' mobile services – another leading digital bank, N26, also works with 1GLOBAL to power its travel eSIM and domestic mobile service. This year, supermarket chain Lidl turned to 1GLOBAL to provide the mobile connectivity behind the Lidl Connect telecoms service, serving over 100 million customers.

These services reflect growing customer demand for simple mobile services from trusted providers. As eSIM adoption rates continue to climb, spurred by the growing proportion of eSIM-only consumer devices like the iPhone 17, individuals are exploring options beyond traditional carriers.

An eSIM makes it easy to switch providers, escape outdated telecom models, and access a wide range of digital perks. The ongoing partnership between 1GLOBAL and Revolut proves the model’s success: the bank has continued to expand its domestic service in new markets, catering to rising global demand.

1GLOBAL has helped brands from banking, retail, travel, and more enter the mobile market, attract new customers, and strengthen existing relationships. Find out more about 1GLOBAL embedded telco services, or contact our team directly.
